Why I Got Infected is a small and entirely free tool designed to detect computer infections. By using WIGI, users will discover any weak spots within their operating systems – outdated versions of software or potentially unsafe links may exist in web browser histories that lead to computer infections.
WIGI offers an intuitive user experience, making it appealing to less experienced users. The main tool window has two tabs; on one of which, functions for detecting outdated plugins and outdated versions of software (patch updates for Windows, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Java, Adobe Flash Player Reader etc) are located. Meanwhile on another tab called History we can analyze visited Internet addresses in terms of security – simply set your time period then press SCAN; optionally you may send information directly to Malekal.com while WIGI stores an extra report locally on your desktop PC as well.
Why I Got Infected is available under a freeware license and may be used both non-commercially and commercially without installation in your operating system – simply place it anywhere on the hard drive or external data carrier to use.
