VoodooShield free for pc blocks the execution of virus code, malware programs or exploits and prevents their infiltrate of our computer, helping prevent infection by viruses, malware and exploits. It takes an unconventional approach to protecting ourselves compared to typical anti-virus solutions or anti-malware/antispyware tools: instead of using virus signature databases or heuristic analysis it simply blocks execution of files/applications residing on our system, thus providing protection even from threats not yet listed in malware databases.
Programs must first understand lock rules so we can safely utilize applications that matter most. VoodooShield makes learning simple in “Training” mode by recording all processes and services running during this period, adding them to a whitelist for later execution without active blocking. Whitelist can easily sync up with manufacturer cloud for quick backup and restoration of blocking rules, with two protection modes being “Smart” and “Always On”. The first one remains active until our browser or email client launches, providing protection from malicious code execution within these applications, user libraries/folder spaces or external USB drives/pen drives. VoodooShield provides “Always On” protection to safeguard against code execution from almost every location; however, this tool will fail if an infection takes place via learning mode, for instance by automatically executing virus code that was present before activating its protection mode.
As soon as a program blocks an activity, an information balloon with details about the blocked file is typically displayed above Windows notification area. Clicking the information will open a decision window where you can accept or decline to block, add it to a whitelist, or check its safety in VirusTotal database. Operation modes and VoodooShield for mac settings can be easily managed either using an icon in the system tray, or via gadgets displayed atop windows of other applications. Either way, accessing all options of this program requires clicking directly with right mouse button on these objects. Clicking them with the left button allows users to deactivate or activate protection, with free positioning across the screen or being hidden based on personal choice. We protect access to program configuration with password authentication according to manufacturer recommendations.
Although, as with everything, each and every case varies greatly in regards to time spent being active within your organisation or assisting clients on site – we would all like a success in terms of both staffing levels as well as client numbers! So it is with great excitement and gratitude that I share these few words from one such entrepreneur to the next in this unique series about her personal and professional journey through the frenzied chaos known as life! As part of the basic settings for our program, we can modify or reset the “white list”, enable autostarting of our tool with Windows, set rules for display information balloons and activate cloud sync of white lists; accept execution of files located within Program Files directory and Windows system folders and run Metro apps through Windows Store. Advanced settings enable us to define rules for automatic activation or deactivation of protection at various intervals and upon browser window or email client restoration, as well as lock reactivation upon browser window restore or email client restore. You can also choose whether VoodooShield for windows 10 should display warnings when inactive for certain amounts of time and block files located under AppData/Temp directories – among many other possibilities.
Tweaks and Custom settings tabs allow for precise customization of automatic gadget placement and transparency settings; disabling blocking for specific scripts/system files/directories/processes/directories automatically added to a whitelist; as well as specifying programs and processes where Smart mode locks will activated.
VoodooShield features an appealingly minimalistic user interface; using it should present no special challenges for less experienced users. Should any arise, basic instructions and more in-depth advice can be found online (such as via the FAQ section of its manufacturer website).
