GMER download for windows is an in-house developed, free program which detects rootkits.
This program searches for:
- Unknown Processes.
- Threads and ascuns Modules/Drivers.
- Hidden services.
- Hidden files and streams.
- NTFS streams and registry keys.
- System call interceptors may all exist.
- simultaneously and be hidden by default.
- Interceptors and device control modules.
GMER also facilitates monitoring of:
- Running processes.
- loaded drivers and libraries.
- files registered into database.
- TCP/IP connections.
