Another form of scanning available to users is Profile Scan which performs more targeted checks against specific elements on a system. Scanning only those elements indicated by a user and saved in one or more profiles we create can also help identify potential threats quickly and accurately. Of course, real-time protection runs continuously in the background to monitor processes started upon system startup for additional protection measures.
TrackSweep, available under Extras tab in antivirus programs, allows for the easy removal of all traces left by web browser use (most popular ones supported: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera and Google Chrome) with just one click (cookies, cache memory history recently visited pages.
