Padlockr is a simple application designed to securely store short and essential data such as logins, passwords, notes, bank card numbers or any other sensitive data – such as logins/passwords/notes etc – safely in one location. Because its memory-based system works by remembering text notes we create ourselves, Padlockr works well with basic and straightforward applications without being part of complex management suites.

All information within the app itself as well as individual entries is secured using password protection: both its main password, as well as any additional ones created specifically for these entries, including additional pseudo-random password generators which let us select length, types of characters included etc. Furthermore, multiple people can simultaneously use it thanks to separate notes being created per account holder.

Use of the program is straightforward, though the interface could use some refinement – the main options on the toolbar are represented by tiny icons whose functionality only becomes apparent upon hovering with a mouse cursor over them.
