When trying to remove confidential or sensitive material such as industrial secrets or anything unwelcome to others’ eyes, making sure it has been permanently erased is paramount. Freeraser works at three levels.

After its installation, this program starts up along with your system and “resides” in its tray; then displays an individual basket for you to drag files you wish to delete into. We delete them by dragging them from our desktop into this trash.
